Adnan´s secret (Adnans hemlighet på engelska)

When dad says he can't go to the beach as he promised, Adnan gets angry. Why are his parents always so tired? Adnan decides to go on his own, even though he knows he can't. And it's lucky, because otherwise no one would have heard the beep from the ditch. It sounds like a cry for help.

Adnan's secret is created in collaboration with the Red Cross treatment center for war injured and tortured. The trauma from war, torture and difficult flight experiences can seriously damage a person, but with the right treatment, the chance of being able to move on increases.

The author Peppe Öhman has interviewed children in the Red Cross's operations in Malmö about their lives and dreams, and the book is inspired by these stories. Rana Kadry, who has created the lovely illustrations for the book, has experience of migration herself. 

Adnan´s secret is available in Swedish, Ukrainian and Arabic. 

Adnan's secret is printed on recycled paper certified with the EU-flower and printed on a Svanen-certified printing house. Great for our environment and our children!
